David W. Bechtel, beloved husband and father, died at home suddenly on March 20, 2018 in Egg Harbor Township at the age of 56. David is survived by his parents, William and Lillian Bechtel of Reading, PA; wife Kateryna (Kathy) Bechtel; children, David Jr., Paul, and Jenna; siblings, Lynn (Robert) Fenstermacher and Lauri (Robert) Cancillieri.

David was born on February 15, 1962 in Hazelton, PA and grew up in Reading, PA. He graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1981 and then worked in the construction industry after learning the trade from his grandfather and father. Dave moved to Egg Harbor Township, NJ with his sweetheart, Kathy, in 1987 where he resided until his death. Dave loved working with his hands and spending time with his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd., Northfield, NJ 08225 as well as on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 10am until 11am. A funeral service will follow at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Seaside Cemetery, Marmora, NJ.
