Harry J. Higbee, age 70, died after a long battle with cancer on March 9, 2018, in the care of his daughter Sandra and the healthcare providers at Eastern Pines Nursing Home and Grace Hospice Services, Atlantic City, NJ. Harry J. Higbee is survived by his Children: Nancy Bellucci and her husband Joseph Bellucci and their children Joe, Lou, and Tom, of Little River, SC; Sandra Ritchie and her husband Craig Ritchie, of Heislerville, NJ; Brenda Buysse and her husband Charlie Buysse and their children Austin, Isabella, Ethan, and Noah, of Mooresville, NC; his son Mark Higbee and his wife, Daisy Higbee and their children Kyle, Jayden, and Nathan of Hammonton, NJ; and, many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Nancy (Higbee) Ricciuti. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry P. Higbee and mother, Mary Edna Higbee (Oliver) of Somers Point, NJ. He lived in Egg Harbor Township for many years and worked as a mechanic and body shop owner. He was also a chef in Atlantic City and worked in the restaurant industry over the course of his life. During the prime of his life he loved to race and rebuild cars, watch traditional western movies, loved Elvis, and John Wayne movies. He would tell you that his greatest gift was his children and grandchildren. A private burial is scheduled. He will be laid to rest at Zion Cemetery at 11:00 am on 3/13/18. Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
