Carmen, Jack C. –72, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on February21, 2018 at his home. Jack was a lifelong resident of Egg Harbor Township
and graduated from Oakcrest High School in 1964. Jack served honorably in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969 and was awarded the Good
Conduct medal and the National Defense Service medal. He was a member of Roofers Local 30, employed by Kiker Roofing. Jack joined AkPharma Inc. as a machinist and retired more than two decades later as asupervisor. Jack is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Ethel (Sear) Carmen, brother Bill Carmen, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Myra and John Wexler. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Katharine (Ruth) Carmen, four children, Karen Little (Edward), Kenneth Carmen (Allison), Kathi Carmen-Narvaez (Jaime), and Chrissy Harriott (Mark). He was adored by his grandchildren, Nikki, Jakki, Alec, Gabriella, Katharine, Dillon, Libby, Courtney, Jack, Will, Paige, and Cole.
He is also survived by his siblings Albert Carmen, George Carman, Nellie Ludwig, and Ethel Martinelli, as well as his two sisters-in-law, Billie Andrews and Peggy Burkley, and many nieces and nephews.Jack was loved by his entire family. He was a devoted husband, model father, loving grandfather, beloved brother and uncle.
A Gathering with the family will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2pm til 3pm at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Rd. Northfield, NJ. A Memorial Service will follow at 3pm.
Donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Community Food Bank of South Jersey 6735 E Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
