Carmine J. Matarazzo, 68 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away after a long battle with liver cancer on Nov. 27th. Carmine was born in Naples, Italy and came to America at the age of 4. He lived most of his life in Paterson, NJ before relocating to South Jersey. He will always be remembered for his beautiful head of hair, his handsome good looks, and charming personality. Carmine was a blackjack dealer in AC before retiring to the Pocono's. But he couldn't stay away from the shore, and came to spend the last few months of his life with his daughter, Nina, son-in-law, Tim, and loving family member Joseph. He loved the water and during the warm months you could find him out in his boat fishing, crabbing, or clamming. He also had a green thumb and loved gardening and picking flowers for the house. He is survived by his daughter, Nina Camp and son-in-law, Tim Camp and a very large extended family of Aunts and Cousins. There will be a private cremation, and a memorial service will be at a later date.
