Michael “Mike” Christopher Calvez, of Audubon, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 6th, 2015.

He was born on March 12, 1975, in Somers Point, NJ and lived to be 40 years old.

Mike is survived by his wife, Patricia of 18 years; his daughter, Samantha; his mother, Gwen Olita; sister, Crystal Calvez; nieces and nephews, Alec and Amelia Forbes, Morgan and Ryleigh Botta, Cash O’Brien and his best friend Buddy.

Mike was passionate about many things: sports, cooking and most of all, his family. He was a football and wrestling star in high school, and played baseball on the weekends in his later life, and never missed a UFC fight.

He graduated with an Associates degree from the Restaurant School of Philadelphia and worked in the culinary business until he decided his family was more important, but he turned that passion into a passion for cooking for his family. He will be missed.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 12th, at 11:00 am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield where friends may call from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
