Mayer, Joseph Albert, Jr., age 58 of Egg Harbor Township, died at Mainland Hospital in Galloway on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

Born July 16, 1956 in Somers Point, he lived in Ocean City before settling in Egg Harbor Township.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph Albert, Sr. and Christine Rose Mayer; his sons, Joseph Albert III, Jason Andrew, Jeffrey Allen, and Ryan Joseph Mayer; sisters Beth and Christine Mayer; brothers Michael and Stephen Mayer; grandchildren Andrew, Anna, Abby, Greg, Montana, Elizabeth and Joshua; and six nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Ocean City High School and worked at West Company and AK Pharma for most of his career. He loved the outdoors, boating, and fishing all of his life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 3:00pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 2:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately.
