Durante, Christopher, 53 of Northfield, was taken from us suddenly on January 18, 2015.

Chris was known for always smiling. He always tried to help when anyone was in need. He was hardworking, and worked at both Babies "R" Us and Carriage House.

Chris was an animal lover and is now with his beloved dog, Hercules.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Eileen; his three children: C.Michael, Mary Eileen, and Sara; his brother, Anthony (Barbara); sister Marie Darby (Jim); brother James (Tawana); and brother Michael; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Road, Northfield. A viewing will be held from 9:00am until the time of the Mass. Interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by the family for the children's education.
